Herons and Egrets and Bitterns, Oh My

Last night we drove through the Shiawassee Auto Tour.  It was so fabulous we went back early this morning.  We saw so many birds.  Three hundred egrets, maybe more.  A flock of Bitterns.  Night Herons.  Great Blue Herons.  A Blue Bunting.  Sandhill Cranes.  An immature Eagle. And one we couldn't identify.  It was bigger than the immature Eagle.  We were too far away even with the new binoculars to be able to figure out what it was.  And of course a turtle!
