It's been fun. I hate my phone, but will put up with it because the camera is amazing.

Parfaits
The best purchase for this WW journey was 4 oz glass parfait cups. It gives us just the right amount for a sweet treat.
I love the little cookies from Trader Joe's, but you can switch them out for 1 point worth of cookie crumbles of any kind of cookie.
The combinations are endless, but these two are my favorites.

Whitefish Pizza Step-by-step
This is my go to recipe. I've taken it pre-baked to a dinner and even baked as an appetizer to a party.
6 points for two of these delicious pizzas.
You can prepare all of this at once or break it up during the week. I've sauted the vegetables two days before and refrigerated, made the dough the night before and wrapped the divided 1.6 oz balls in waxed paper and refrigerated. I wouldn't suggest mixing the Alfredo base before because it could get hard on top and you want every bit to use.
Spread Alfredo base and top with sauted vegetables.

Spray Parchment paper with pam
Divide dough into 1.6 oz balls (can refrigerate overnight at this point)
Spray wax paper, put ball of dough and fold over wax paper. Roll out thin.
Place on sprayed parchment covered baking sheet. Bake until just a little brown. About 8 minutes.
Spread Alfredo base and top with sauted vegetables.
Add 1/2 TBS bacon bits and flaked whitefish
Top with cheese and yogurt mixture.
At this point I cover with foil, refrigerate (one sheet on top of the other is fine) then I take to our friends' home and bake there.
Bake 400° until cheese is melted.

Sausage
Sausage making day with Olympia - 200 Pounds!
We took Olympia to her daughter's home where we spent the day with Ellen and Larry, his brother and sister-in-law, a friend from their church, Fr. Andy, Pat and M.E.
They started Friday night cutting the pork, leaving some of the fat. When we got there the meat had all been put through the grinder once and stored in 20# bages.
The stations were set up:
- Each bag was ground one more time.
- The spices and wine was added and we mixed it with our hands until all the spices we're completely distributed through the meat.
- The meat was weighed into 1# balls
- Each ball was put into plastic freezer bags
- The bags were vacuum sealed.
This happened ten times with each 20# bag.
I started as mixer with Olympia, but decided they need a floater. I worked wherever someone was getting behind. It was fun.

After the work was done the guys watched Michigan lose to Ohio - lots of groans.
Then we had sausage patties, salad, bread and wine. We enjoyed every bit of the day.
We left Clarkston around 5:30 to drive home in the rain.

Thanksgiving 2018
I am filled with gratefulness this day. Many family members will be here for dinner. This is my favorite day. I love the happiness this day brings to so many.
Our nephew, David Silver, came to visit and help cook Thanksgiving dinner. It was a joy making the pumpkin pie while he made the stuffing. Pat got to sit at the counter and kept the conversation and the wine flowing. I'll pop in here throughout the day and post pictures of how 25 people will fit happily in this condo for dinner!
