We do love picking up Sheala at the airport at 1:30 am. Seriously, we really do. There's hardly any traffic to and from Detroit and the airport is pretty much deserted.
We have Sheala all to ourselves for about a half hour while we take her to her apartment in Oak Park. She is such a delightful young woman. She didn't want to come home, but she was in a great mood. Her visit with Conner went well.
She also likes her job and had a light load last semester. We could tell she was refreshed and ready to get back to school and work.
When I told her we brought subway and a root beer she laughed in a way that showed she knows she is spoiled and loved by us!
We do love her so!
